Management

Bill has been an operating manager and/or private investor in clean technology, real estate, specialty finance, and technology for over 30 years. He is an inventor or co-inventor named on 14 issued US patents. Bill has had 3 successful exits as either a CEO or senior team member.

Bill earned a Master's degree in management from MIT’s Sloan School of Management; and a Bachelor’s degree in mathematical economics from Pomona College. Concurrent with his business career, he was appointed as a Visiting Scholar at Wharton and at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.

Mark Springfield, Operations

Mark brings over twenty years of senior and executive level SaaS product management experience to EcoVolt. He has held product and marketing leadership roles as an early employee of two successful exits. Mark's solar experience includes Founder and CEO of Hot 4 Solar as well as senior product leadership for SolarCity.

Mark earned an M.B.A from MIT's Sloan School of Management and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Bill Brick, Business Development

Bill has 25 years of experience in solar, information technology and structured finance, with organization breadth spanning venture-backed start-ups to listed global enterprises.

Bill earned an M.B.A. from UC Irvine's Paul Merage School of Business and a bachelor's degree in managerial economics from UC Davis.

John Parsons, Consulting CFO

In addition to 25 years of investment and management experience, John has been an advisor to various clean technology companies including: (i) Project Development Partner with Clean Power Group developing utility scale solar in the US, Japan and Latin America with project development funding from General Electric, Northland Power (Canada), and others, and (ii) Zep Solar, a maker of solar panel mounting components (acquired by SolarCity).

John earned an M.B.A. from The University of Virginia Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Tim led several seminal studies on renewable development, transmission development and grid integration, and he has spoken widely at conferences and industry forums on renewable power markets and grid integration.

Andrew Rosenfeld, Advisor

Andrew has spent 26 years as an investor and operating manager in energy and chemical companies responsible for both short and long term profitability. Currently he serves as Principal of C14 Strategy LLC, his company that works with energy and chemical companies with various tasks related to execution of their business plans.

J. Kevin Cammack, Advisor

Kevin Cammack brings over 16 years of legal and business experience to his advisory role at EcoVolt. He was previously Senior Finance Director in charge of project finance for Solar Universe, one of the top-10 solar installers in the United States.

Martin Sances, Advisor

Martin Sances brings over 18 years of legal and business experience to his advisory role at EcoVolt. He is currently General Counsel at PetersenDean, one of the largest residential solar installers in the United States. In that role, he is involved in pricing, component sourcing, marketing, financing, corporate policy setting, human resources, and other corporate functions.
